How do I help my driver lower or eliminate corner events?
When the accelerometer inside the CyntrX device detects a .3gForce movement to the side, it triggers a corner event.
Most corner events we investigate are excessive speeds on exit and entrance ramps or around sharp curves on roadways. Ramps and curves that are not gradual will have a recommended speed limit posted. Driving beyond that speed, particularly in a commercial vehicle, can cause the corner event trigger.
The number 1 way to reduce corner events is to be aware of the suggested speed signs and stay under that limit.
