Did you know? Electronic Logging Device (ELD) education enforcement will begin in Canada on June 12, 2021. Transport Canada has issued a statement that the agency will not penalize for failing to adopt ELDs but will work with the industry to create a “progressive enforcement period”. This entails an education and awareness campaign for the first 6 months on ELD adoption. Although the date is June 12th, getting your fleet outfitted with ELDs ahead of time will ensure your team is ready and trained for what’s to come.
