With nearly 10 years of dedicated service, Jared’s commitment to excellence, technical expertise, and leadership have made him an invaluable asset to the Cumberland team. Jared’s consistent contributions have earned him recognition as a finalist for the 2024 Technician of the Year Award.

Melvin Castro, Mobile Tech at Cumberland, shared how Jared’s expertise and willingness to help have had a lasting impact:

"Jared has always been the go-to person when it comes to troubleshooting or helping others. Whether it’s guiding new techs or offering his insights on complex repairs, Jared’s willingness to help is unmatched. He takes pride in educating others about tools, training, and ways to ensure repairs minimize downtime for customers."

"He’s also incredibly dedicated to his customers, often staying late or putting aside his lunch to make sure a repair is completed, so the customer can get back on the road. No task is too small for Jared, and he’s even been seen washing rental units and performing preventative maintenance (PMs) with the same dedication."

As the night shift lead, Jared’s leadership shines brightly. He manages the team, sets priorities for the next day, and ensures the trucks coming in during second shift are handled with care and efficiency. His decision-making and ability to keep things running smoothly have been essential in maintaining high standards of service.

Jared’s commitment extends to staying on top of the latest industry technology. His proactive approach helped catch a critical recall last year, enabling Cumberland Idealease to address it before other locations, preventing customer downtime and improving service.
